about me

I am a graduate in acting from the R.E.S.A.D. (Royal School of Dramatic Art, Madrid) while also holding a Certificate in Pedagogical Aptitude (C.A.P.) and a Master’s in Professional Research in the field of “Arts in Live Performance” (University of Seville). I am also an expert in Body Language Pedagogy, specialized in the “Shinca Method” (Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid).

Through the years, I attended various European training initiatives and workshops such as the Odín Theatre workshop (Holsterbru, Denmark) or LaQuartaParede’s workshops (Colvhiña and Fundao, Portugal). Thanks to these initiatives, I established a collaboration with the Astrágali Theatre company (Lecce, Italy).

During my eleven-month working period in Japan, I trained in Butoh, a form of Japanese dance founded by Tatsumi Hijikata, an actor and choreographer. I mainly learned from Akiko Motofiji, Hijikata’s collaborator but also from other artists like Yosito Ohno and Min Tanaka.

Between 2014 and 2018, I researched the benefits of body language and theater through the Autism Association of Córdoba (Spain), as part of a program aimed at improving socio-communicative skills in individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Additionally, I hold an honorary position as collaborator in the Dance Department of the University of Córdoba. Since 2015, I have been working with the University of Córdoba, specifically with the ceiA3 (Campus of International Excellence in Agri-food), by conducting workshops on non-verbal and verbal communication skills for scientists.

Since 2015, I have been exploring social inclusion at the Margaritas Women’s Center, through the Thalita Kum Association of Córdoba, by conducting annual workshops on body language and theater. Additionally, I have been involved in various projects aimed at promoting social inclusion among rural women while also working with the Down Association of Córdoba.

PhD at the University of Córdoba

THEATER, TELEVISION AND EFÍMERA

Since 2000, I have been working as professional actress mainly in theater, but also in film and tv. I had various supporting roles in TV series such as “Curso del 63” (Antena 3) and in feature films such as “Maldita Venganza” directed by David Chamizo and released in cinemas in 2015.

My work as director and actress include “Yume Ensueño” (2005), “Carmín en las Mejillas” (2015), “REVERSO” (2016) and “Fuimos Yerma” (2017). I have also produced the play “Maruja, asesina de ratas, torturadores y verdugos” which ran from 2018 to 2021. This play was written by Miguel Palacios and directed by Carlos Alonso. “Rebeldes con Causa”(2019) is a children educational play that had a successful four years run. This was also an in-house production.

Since 2013, I have been expanding my work as director and producer and established a long-term professional partnership with filmmaker Hugo Lasarte under the Efímera brand.
